Aprons & Pearls Week #3

It should technically be week #4, but I spaced it last week in the midst of the chaos that is my life right now. I nearly forgot this week. I just remembered on my way to bed. This week will be quick, but I hope that you will hang in there with me as I figure this link-up thing out. Feedback and ideas are welcome! Also, if you are interested in co-hosting, please let me know.

Aprons & Pearls Link~up #3

“The woman who makes a sweet, beautiful home, filling it with love and prayer and
purity, is doing something better than anything else her hands could find to do beneath the skies.” ~ J.R. Miller

What a wonderful encouragement.

Making my home lovely is something I strive for. Most days I fail miserably. If you have been around a while, you know that I have dealt with clutter for a while and that I am working my way through it. It has not been easy. I find that my biggest issue is finding time and energy to get stuff done.

I truly want a clutter free home, but making that happen is a struggle with  3 and almost 2 year olds.

I am making progress, though it is much slower than I would like.

But filling my home with love and prayer and purity is something that comes much easier. Getting in the floor with the kids and playing around, cuddles, and praying are things that we do throughout the day. I need to start some more intentional Bible reading with the kids. They are such sponges!

Next week the link up may be a post of s series of posts that I am planning on natural ways to make your home smell lovely.

What is a way that you intentionally ‘make’ your home?

I have made a Pinterest Board for the posts that you link-up, feel free to send me a message over on pinterest to be added. You can click here to check out the board.
