Aprons & Pearls Link-up

It has been a busy week here in our house. Lots of stuff getting done. Going places. Cooking up yummies in the kitchen. Sick child.

I did not get get to write the post that I wanted to put up yesterday, but I have a couple coming up soon. So stay tuned for that.

I have been freshening things up. It has been beautiful weather, so the windows have been open as much as we can open them. I have been breaking out some natural smell good things. Lighting my beeswax candle. Swapped out my usual mood boosting oil scents for some autumn ones. If only there were a pumpkin essential oil!

There is a pumpkin recipe round-up in the works. “Pumpkin all the things!” is my motto September-November, but October is the main event. Oatmeal and pancakes have been all that I have attempted thus far, but a cheesecake is in the works….

I need to sit down and have a good planning session. Menus, schedules, activities…party planning.  A good brain dump is what I need at this point!

Autumn is indeed here, though we have already been above average temperature wise since it officially started.
